Who Am I, Really? Finding Identity in Christ

Finding Identity in Christ 💜

Hello dear friend,

Have you ever asked yourself questions like “who am I?”, “what’s my purpose?” or “what makes me special?” When we try to find the answers in to achievements, relationships, or our appearance, we’ll inevitably be left feeling empty.

I totally relate to struggling with identity. For the longest time, I found my identity in being the “responsible achiever” and the “creative girl.” At some point, things started changing and I could find myself in these labels anymore. I ended up feeling like I had no worth. Many years later, God gently started showing me that my value isn’t in what I do, instead it’s in who He says I am.

In this episode, I share my story of going through an identity crisis and how experiencing God’s love for me has restored my sense of self.

Here are a few takeaways from the episode:

💗 Identity rooted in external things is fragile: jobs, achievements, and relationships can all change in an instant.

💗 True worth comes from God: He is unchanging, and His Word has the final say on who you are.

💗 Experiencing God’s love transforms you from within: It goes from head knowledge to becoming a conviction in your heart.

💗 You are chosen and loved: Genesis 1:27, Jeremiah 1:5, Colossians 3:12, and Psalm 139:13-14 remind us that God has known and loved us from the beginning of time.

💗 Your story was written before you were born: Your value is secure in Christ.
